I'm sure the medics would laugh if they read this and last post because my op was trivial with a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny "t". Mind you I have a bandage with a huge, huge, huge, huge "b".
Excellent Calum. The NHS obviously works in this part of the system thank goodness. You had a "man" procedure done, did you? Well I do send you lots of virtual sympathy. Glad to see you can laugh about it all.
No, no, I was comparing it to a "man" cold, a few symptons, lots of complaining and a demand for lots of attention, etc. You get the idea. I meant a minor procedure that a woman just take in her stride but a man makes a big deal of.
I did not mean to imply anything else you know, I think a male elbow is the same as a female one, as I recall!
Glad it went well - and please believe that the pain is real and you're not making a fuss about nothing - just think how painful it is to knock the elbow, much more painful than the knee or the shin where you probably wouldn't notice it.

jmb A "man" procedure? No!
I had small part (bursa) from my elbow removed. Never cleared after infection 2 months ago.
The only part that could have been gender-specific was making a lot out of a very minor op.
You just wouldn't believe how much pain I'm in!!!! AAAgggghhh!!!
Thank goodness for that. :-)
I'm glad that everything went well Callum
