HOW TO ADD BUTTON TO SIDEBAR

Through lack of knowledge I've made it difficult to add the button to a sidebar but Phil A has a solution ...... BUT my lack of knowledge is so great that when I type here what you need to use the bloody button appears here rather than the text.

If you want the button , email me and I'll send the details.

Sorry about the hassle.

Right click the image and save it to desktop as a picture. Use the add a picture feature and put Calums blog address in the link....

Mut

This is the method I used but I found that the picture was too big, Then I had to faff about trying to get the picture smaller. My button is what i ended up with. perhaps this method only works with some blog designs.

But then I know SFA.

I saved the image and then uploaded it into a draft post. Click on the image, then and turn it into a link, just as if it was words. Then go from compose into edit html mode, copy and paste the code into add a page element. Save and Bob's your uncle. I just leave the post in draft, called Calum's button.

So when you click onto the button in the sidebar you are taken to the post you have linked.

Obviously looking at Mut's method we all have our own cobble together method.

When you upload the image to blogger just use the small size. Actually now I come to think about it you don't use images do you?

I think it would be nice for you to link the image to your own main campaign post. I linked the image to my post about it which linked to yours, but I think I'll change it.

If this old lady can do it Calum, you can.

If you can type out the instructions then take a screen shot i.e. printscreen, and edit it in 'paint' or some such programme and save it as a jpg. Then you can simply add the picture to your post and voila!

substitute < and > for the [ and ]'s above. And change the xxx's to the numbers you need for height/width of your sidebar.

For the people that didn't read the other comments. They can simply link to your pic :)
