I can imagine some states of mind seeing such colours.
Possibly really looks like that to some creatures, such as some insects, or aliens (and druggies). We don't see the only reality do we - we see a specific style representation made deep in the back of the brain. Clumsy's versions are just as valid.
This altered reality is not quite so peaceful.
