Nice End to a Difficult Day

I should say “… to a VERY difficult day”.

A friend, a very good friend, with whom I’d fallen out, emailed me tonight asking if I were interested in mending bridges.

Yes!

My head is still birling from the morning’s efforts but this is a nice end.
