I was "flicking" through photos in Picasa when I noticed the cross in an otherwise nondescript photo.Simple cropping shows the cross off in its simple beauty.
Looks fairly recent judging by the 'dove of peace' top centre.
You're right it does look quite new but it is lovely for all that.
JD the dove has been a symbol of columba since he was on iona its not a modern symbol. i agree with you on the possible age of the cross. isn't it beautiful.
