Watch the Fingers Move 3

For this the third in the series we move from fiddle and accordion to the piano [Part 1 here and Part 2 here].

This video highlights an amazing performance by Dick Hyman playing a Jelly Roll Morton composition which is very aptly named.

Fingerbreaker

Keep your eyes open and try to follow his fingers.

You couldn’t, could you?

WOW! I thought I was good playing The BumbleBee!

I saw Glenn Gould once before he stopped playing in public. A tremendous experience! It was not velocity, just his feelings about Bach's music which he could transmit to you by touching the notes in a very special way. Really my type of music!

Eyes-boggling, so to speak! Thanks, Calum.

After this I am (almost) sure you will like listening to him and watching one of my favourite pianists performing a jazzy version of Mozart's 'Turkish March': Fazil Say.
