Music in the Morning - Wednesday

A wonderful slow air composed by James Scott Skinner.

The Cradle Song

Chris Duncan, Julian Thompson & Catherine Strutt

  1. Morgens, Calum. A very pleasant and restful piece.

  2. Yes!

I had never heard this before Monday and I was struck by its beauty.

  3. very relaxing
now I am just in the right frame of mind to sit and do nothing and watch the world go by

  4. Lovely! Lovely! Lovely! Three times listening. I had a problem letting it go. Will come back to it later.

  5. Yes, I think you've summed it up well.

  6. I just love this latest discovery. The cello gives the music its seriousness and its grounding on which the fiddle builds. The piano gives it lightness and the trio its balance.

I was like you, Claudia, in that I played this over and over and over again.

This is class music and class playing.
