Wonder if I’ll get a cut-price deal if I can get one at the same time.
The symptoms seem very similar:
Starts OK but loses power after a few minutes.
No motivation: can’t rev engine when in neutral.
Having lost power can drive in reverse OK but forward impossible.
Battery doesn’t charge but then miraculously appears charged only to falter again within a few minutes.
The AA are taking the car into the garage tomorrow. I wonder if they’ll drop me off at the hospital.

Yes but I think my TLC will cost a lot less than the car's. Last time this happened to car it cost £700
